Ours Academy is one of the most reputed and result-oriented educational institutions in Hisar, Haryana. Since its establishment in March 2008, the academy has been committed to delivering quality education and transforming the dreams of thousands of students into successful careers. With more than 15 years of academic excellence, Ours Academy has emerged as a trusted name for competitive and professional coaching across Haryana. Our mission has always been simple yet powerful - to provide structured guidance, strong conceptual clarity, and career-focused preparation that leads to real results.
The academy we are talking about today shapes the future of lakhs of students every year. Not only in Hisar, but across Haryana, the name Ours Academy needs no introduction. It is among the few institutes that parents trust blindly, where they hand over the responsibility of their child's future to the teachers, with the belief that the child will get the right guidance.
This trust was not built in a day. Ours Academy started in Hisar in March 2008, and over these years it has become one of the most recognized competitive exam coaching institutes in the city. More than fifteen years of continuous teaching, a strong record of results, and lakhs of students who gave their careers a direction from here.
If we look at the record from 2008 till now, in the HAU admissions held every year, the top rank in all of Haryana has mostly gone to one student or another from Ours Academy. This is not about just a year or two, it has been happening for years. Every year some student comes out of here and reaches the top, and this is the biggest proof of how much hard work and honesty goes into teaching and preparation here.
Today, Ours Academy Hisar is known as the best agriculture academy in Haryana, and its identity is no longer limited to agriculture, it has spread to many other competitive and professional exams. Let us understand it in detail.
From one focused preparation course in March 2008 to a group that serves different academic ambitions.
Teaching is not just a job. It is a big responsibility.
The thought behind the academy's foundingWhen Ours Academy started in March 2008, the very first step was preparing students for VLDA. This was the course with which the academy's journey began, and from here the students started giving Ours Academy their love. Ours Academy showed students the way ahead to good results in VLDA, and we found great success in it. After that, the academy started B.Sc Agriculture admission guidance, because we trusted our hard work, and HAU was also in Hisar, so it was easy for us to take students on the road to success.
The results of the early batches were so good that the academy itself found a reason to move forward. The results gave confidence that the same structure and the same teaching approach could work just as well for other exams, and with this thinking, many more courses like SSC, NDA and Airforce were slowly started. And in these courses too, we saw very good results.
Er. Surender Punia Ji, the founder of Ours Academy Hisar, laid the foundation of the academy on a simple thought, which still stands today. Teaching here is not just a job, it is a big responsibility. Every student who comes here comes with a trust attached, that they will get the right path and the right guidance. It is this thinking that gave the academy its tagline "Where Teaching is Religion". It is not a catchy line thought up while sitting in an office, it truly shows the spirit with which classes have been run here for the last one and a half decades. Every single student is taught with the same effort and care, whether they are the first student of the year or the thousandth.
Specialized spaces, dedicated faculty and clear preparation paths.
What started as agriculture-focused coaching did not stay that way for long. The students who trusted the academy for one exam slowly started asking about other exams too. Someone wanted information about NDA, someone about HSSC, and someone needed help with school studies themselves. Instead of tangling one team in every subject and every exam, Ours Academy built new infrastructure for every need, separate buildings, separate faculty, separate institutes. The work of each institute was clear, to prepare a particular kind of student for a particular exam, so that the quality of teaching stays strong everywhere and no subject gets less attention.
Today, the Ours Academy Group includes many different institutes, each carrying forward the same teaching philosophy in its own way.
The foundation of the group: entrance preparation and guided agriculture admissions.
Its identity was built on VLDA preparation. Most of the students who have gone ahead in life have come out from here. Along with this, students who want to do B.Sc Agriculture, whether it is the 4-year course or the 6-year course, also get complete admission guidance from here, which college to choose, what the eligibility is, how to clear the entrance exam, everything. And since HAU itself is in Hisar, the teaching here does not stay limited to books. The faculty has real knowledge of the field, which gives students an understanding that does not come just from reading the syllabus.
Written exams, SSB interview, physical fitness and disciplined preparation.
Ours Defence Brigade is for students who want to join the country's army, through NDA, CDS or Airforce. Only written exam preparation is not done here. Students are also prepared for the SSB interview, work is done on physical fitness, and they are taught the discipline that is needed every day in a defence career, because just passing the paper is not enough, the real challenge starts after that.
Under this same venture runs the Shaurya Batch, a free daily live-class program made for NDA-CDS aspirants. Along with it there is the Rafel Batch, and a separate Special Airforce X and Y Group Batch, made especially keeping in mind the Airforce exam pattern, which is quite different from NDA or CDS.
Focused entrance preparation in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
Preparing for exams like IIT JEE and NEET is completely different from other exams. It is neither like school studies, nor like any ordinary competitive exam. You have to study in depth, and you need the same amount of speed too. Sankalp Institute was made understanding this need. Here Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics are taught at the same level at which they are asked in these exams.
The faculty here is also prepared especially for these entrance exams, so that students' focus stays straight on the goal and does not wander here and there like in an ordinary coaching.
Sankalp Institute's Tejas Batch is completely free and available on the Ours Digital app. Here you get notes, recorded lectures and study material, and daily live classes also run for free on Sankalp's YouTube channel, so that every student's preparation keeps moving forward without stopping.
Structured preparation for government job examinations across Haryana.
Shiksha Peeth's whole focus is on the exams needed to get a government job in Haryana, like HSSC, HTET and Group D recruitments. The biggest challenge in these exams is that the syllabus is very large, from Haryana GK to Reasoning and Computer Knowledge. Shiksha Peeth was made to solve exactly this confusion, with a fixed syllabus plan, regular tests, and special attention on the topics that are asked again and again in the exam every year.
On the Ours Digital app, dedicated batches of Shiksha Peeth like the Yoda Batch and Vijayrath Batch are also available, which help students choose the right path according to their exam preparation, whether they have to prepare from the beginning or need fast-paced revision-focused preparation when the exam is near.
Foundational academic support, homework guidance and core subject clarity.
Shaam Ki Paathshala is built on a slightly different concept from the other institutes. It is not preparation for a competitive exam, but a trusted support like tuition classes, for students from class 6 to class 12. Many parents want a place for their child after school where the daily studies are explained properly, help is given with homework, and continuous attention is given to weak subjects, just like a good tuition teacher does.
Shaam Ki Paathshala fulfills this very need, building a strong grip on core subjects like Math and Science. And this is the foundation on which VLDA, NDA or any competitive exam can easily stand later. For this reason we have started Parivartan Batch 1.0 and Parivartan Batch 2.0 on our Ours Digital App, which are available both free and paid, so that every child can strengthen their foundation according to their own need.
Lakhs of students have passed through Ours Academy since its start, have studied here and passed, and moved ahead in their careers. The infrastructure of the group has grown accordingly. In Hisar alone, Ours Academy runs four branches today, which the academy itself built one by one seeing the growing number of students, so that every batch gets the right environment and enough space for studying. Not only this, going beyond Hisar, Ours Academy branches are now running in Karnal and Rohtak too, so that the same guidance can reach more students of Haryana.
This growth did not happen through a five-year plan. It happened because demand always went ahead of the space available, and this is perhaps the best way for any institute to grow.
Ours Academy's defence preparation venture has built a track record of several hundred selections in the armed forces over the years, and the B.Sc Agriculture and VLDA batches have been continuously taking students to HAU and related government roles across the state. These numbers do not tell the whole story, but they do show that in Hisar and all over Haryana, Ours Academy is considered the best VLDA academy in VLDA and B.Sc Agri in Haryana, and parents still choose Ours blindly before looking anywhere else.
Four branches in Hisar, with branches also in Karnal and Rohtak.
Today every student wants to study from Ours Academy, but many students living in far-away cities or villages cannot come here to study. Thinking about this, we made an app, Ours Digital. On this app you get all the same videos and notes that we give to offline students in the classroom, only now they can reach everywhere.
Every batch of every institute of Ours Academy is now in this one app. Whether it is free batches like Shaurya or paid batches like VLDA and B.Sc Agriculture, everything is available in one place, live classes, test series and study material, all together.
And here too the same faculty teaches, the same method is followed, only now it is reaching those students too who cannot come to the classroom every day.
Ours Digital does not have only free content, in Premium courses you get even deeper content, detailed video lectures, subject-wise notes, chapter-wise test series, and performance analysis, which helps keep a serious student's whole preparation organized.
The Ours Digital app is now available on both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Just search "Ours Digital" and download it, and you can enroll in any batch right away.
Search “Ours Digital” on your preferred app store.
A lot has changed over the years, the number of batches has increased, and now along with physical classrooms there is also an app. But some things are still exactly the same as they were on day one.
Classes still run on a fixed syllabus plan instead of teaching random topics here and there. Regular testing still happens, so that real progress is known and not just guessed. Doubt sessions are still run just as seriously, so that no student's question stays without an answer for weeks. And the faculty still takes teaching as a responsibility, not just as a job.
In truth, this consistency is the meaning of the tagline. Calling teaching a religion is not just a nice line. It means staying with every student's every confusion and solving it until it is truly understood, whether they are the tenth student of the day or the thousandth of the year.
Classes follow a fixed syllabus plan rather than disconnected topics.
Tests help students and teachers understand actual preparation progress.
Questions and concepts receive continued attention until understood.
Teaching remains a responsibility, not simply a routine job.
Today there is no shortage of coaching options across Haryana, and since 2008 the competition to attract students' attention has also grown a lot. But Ours Academy, Hisar is still the first choice of students, and the reason is not just its history, although more than fifteen years of experience also counts in its own place.
The real thing is that every institute under this group, Ours Academy, Ours Defence Brigade, Sankalp Institute, Shiksha Peeth and Shaam Ki Paathshala, still runs on the same principle on which Er. Surender Punia Ji built his first classroom: real structure, real teachers, and genuine attention to whether the student is truly understanding or just sitting there.
Whether a student comes for B.Sc Agriculture guidance, for VLDA preparation, with the dream of joining the armed forces through NDA-CDS, for IIT-JEE, for any HSSC recruitment exam, or for school-level coaching, the same foundation applies on every path.
every subject is taught by an expert, not just by reading notes
the goal of every batch is not just to teach, but to get students selected
small batches so that every student's progress can be tracked
so that concept clarity stays strong
where parents send their children with confidence
